Our brief was to help launch Kenwood’s new range of pastel-coloured ChefSense kitchen machines. Inspired by sweets, treats and confectionary, the new range was created to bring a pop of colour and a new level of personalisation to kitchens across Australia.
Working with Kenwood’s brand ambassador and one of Australia’s most loved pastry chefs, Anna Polyviou, we engaged a group of media and influencers at a masterclass hosted in Anna’s pastry kitchen at the Shangri-La hotel. The collaboration with Anna and her team of patissiers who hosted the masterclass created a beautiful environment to hero the coloured machines and set the scenes to see and experiences the quality of the Kenwood machine in action.
The masterclass lead into an afternoon ‘high’ tea, hosted at the Blu Bar on the 36th floor of the Shangri-La Hotel Sydney, where guests were treated to a range of delicious desserts especially made by Anna and her team.
21 media and influencers attended the day, creating a buzz of social media and online activity during and post event. Conversations about the ChefSense colour range reached over 500,000 Australians during a three day period and provided a fantastic launch pad to continue conversations and building ongoing relationships with influencers in the baking arena.
