Liquid was briefed to launch both a new brand and category into Australia – Koyomi, a ready-to-drink Soda and Shochu, inspired by ‘brand Japan’.

To engage Aussies in the sensory experience of Japanese culture, we turned Paddington’s iconic William Street into Little Toyko. A three-day pop-up saw shopfronts transformed into exclusive 'golden gai' bars which hosted 10 people at a time, mimicking the intimate nature of small Japanese street bars. With tickets selling out in just one week, the experience included a product tasting and education as well as varied Japanese cultural activities, ensuring the heart and soul of Japan could be felt right here — in the heart of Sydney.
