Launching Skyscraper with VR


Our brief was to garner consumer awareness for the launch of Skyscraper to digital and DVD. After having already launched theatrically in cinemas, we wanted to give consumers a feel for the action that could take place in their home while watching The Rock’s performance.

We built a virtual reality experience to mimic the thrilling scene where Dwyane Johnson’s character walks across a burning plank into a building, hundreds of meters above the ground. Set up in Sydney’s CBD, the scene was recreated in a real-life breathtaking skyscraper environment.

We also took this experience into media houses including NOVA, Ask Men, Mashable and IGN.
